We can always rely on Best in Park to deliver quintessentially posh outfits for the discerning gent, and these certainly fit the bill. Although they are perfect for the approaching cooler temperatures in Australia, there’s still time for our little guys to take advantage of such elegance, and I’ sure that most wouldn’t hesitate to [...]

Squid, Professor Stingray, Doctor Octopus, and Leafy Sea Dragon are the very lucky kitties who live happily ever after with their mum Kaylah. Whoever said that kitties don’t like to dress up? The British ceramic artist Marie Prett specializes in figurative sculptures of cats, dogs, zebras and showgirls. These wonderfully whimsical animals, circus characters and the odd super -hero here and there are hand-crafted using clay and stand an impressive 20 to 55 centimetres high, the only criterion being that they fit in to the kiln. The circus [...]

I featured illustrator Leah Goren here March 2011 and as I am known as a lover of everything kitty, was totally smitten by her cute dresses, tanks and tees – all of them block printed with cats heads on cotton. Well, over 2 years later her range has now expanded and you can find scarves, totes and even [...]

Well, we do hope everyone had the very best time over the holidays. I’m not quite sure how I discovered Portraits by Colleen, but was immediately stopped in my tracks – firstly by her gorgeous doggy bags and then by the reason behind them – you know how much we love to find creative products that give back! After volunteering at the PSPCA, and feeling overwhelmed by the endless stream of [...]

Spanish illustrator and graphic designer Depeapa creates adorable handmade accessories, and I especially love these felt cameo brooches featuring what else…dogs and kitties. Measuring approximately 4.5 by 6.5cm each sweet little piece has been hand-sewn with an edge of felt, hand printed using an original illustration and comes nicely packaged – so cute! Anyone know what Depeapa means?

I know most of you doggy people (and some kitty people too) are able to take your fur babe out with you wherever you go, but you could also try wearing them too! I saw these adorable pieces after following a link from Silly Buddy’s facebook page. Heather Kent, the artist behind these, has a couple of [...]

It’s hard to imagine that it’s been over two years since I first featured The Urban Animal Scientist and I’ve been an avid fan ever since. Antonio, the founder, apart from being a great guy, has an obvious talent for bringing together everything he adores in urban lifestyle, design and of course dogs, to create exciting, exceptional, quality products. Apart from the [...]

In keeping with my appreciation of London 2012 (that has kept our office entertained for the past two weeks, but made me very proud and also a little homesick) is this set of cards with a ‘Cheers’, two ‘Ello loves,’ and one ‘Smashing’. I decided to feature these handmade cards from A Paper Affaire as each one shows [...]
