Hey Kool Dog, I think this little home could be perfect for kitties too! Canadian company Kool Dog launched this new modern dog house earlier this year and I can’t believe I’ve only just seen it! Designed to blend into your home décor with the idea of being able to use it as a crate too […]

Now who wouldn’t want the whole collection of Zuny creatures helping around the home! From Elephants and Hippos to Penguins and Giraffes, these leather animals will help to hold open your doors, hold down your papers and stand up to your books…there’s even a wee little mouse for your keys – take a peek!

Maison de Toilette is such an elegant name for the place where the cats poop, but how about Poo Poo Pee Do! I’m ever so excited by this name alone, but wait until you see these egg shaped litterboxes! Very similar to the pEi pod egg-shaped beds except they come in two interlocking shells, with a […]

I love all these quirky pieces by Jennifer Jones. From cat feeders and vases to lamps and figurines each item has been created from white bone china and would sit very nicely in any pet loving home. And if you don’t want a dog or cat, don’t worry there are cabbages, phones and bunnies too […]

I absolutely love this card with Wilma on the front! Searching further I then discovered these napkin rings created by artist Rae Dunn. All handmade, the Lets Eat range comes in a lovely printed muslin bag and each ring is stamped with SIT, STAY, SPEAK, and BEG. I completely agree with Rae, your dog’s favourite commands work well […]

Today’s the day (or actually yesterday in Australia) when the fantastic Pretty Fluffy relaunched! It’s been a very long summer without them and I for one have been very excited waiting for our friends, the Pretty Fluffy team Serena and Soda, to return. Pretty Fluffy’s guide for the modern dog owner will be bringing us everything that […]

All in all it’s been a bit of a quirky week under the blanket, so to finish the week with Finger Food Delight seems the right thing to do. Every time I go to this Etsy shop it seems the artist has created a few more of these cute little trinkets. It could be that […]

An assortment of goodies from B B B Potters. This inviting little cafe and online store sells really unique little items. I loved this range with quirky little illustrations on mugs, napkins, plates and totes! I’d love to idle away the time in their little cafe with everything on tap, and the food looks so scrummy […]

Fancy showing off your dog’s femine side with some floral accessories? Not so sure… then there is a cheerful little Dickie or two for the more manly amongst us! First up are the ever-lovely fabric flowers from Bow Wow Couture – I’ve always been a big fan, especially love the classic houndstooth – great for […]

French company Les Fauves Mondain have been featured here on Under the Blanket before, but they have just brought out their Spring 2011 collection and ooh la la…je t’aime tellement! The new range is so full of delectable goodies that I’ve featured most of them so you don’t miss a thing!

Poppet’s nose has always been one of my favourite things about her! As with most grey Tabby cats it is very distinct in that it looks like it has been outlined in mascara. Posh Poppet always walks around with her nose in the air and looking very elegant so when I saw these cat and […]

Do you ever find something when you are trawling around and can’t wait to blog about it? I’m actually like that most of the time, but when I came across Fur Buttons I almost couldn’t wait for the next post! I’ve actually included a lot more pictures than I needed to as well :) What […]

I love spending time going around the Cox and Cox online shop, they always have very unique items that you wish you had! Take this doggy doorstop for instance, and maybe it is because I’m British, but I would love to be propping the doors open this summer with this little guy. Aaaaand of course if […]

If you’re a regular reader of Under the blanket you will know that I’ve been a fan of Edwyn UK for a while and have featured them several times before, (you can see the old posts here and here). I first found Edwyn through my love of Welsh Terriers, the Fox Terrier and Airedales. Edwyn is a […]

Oh San Francisco, you are a hot bed of some very cool stuff going on in the dog world! I bet if I looked back over my posts it would seem as if I am almost addicted to your great pet product companies and online doggy communities. Take The Modern Canine, and these really cool […]

I’ve been checking around for pet related gifts and found that there is an abundance of them, but I loved these items I saw on Anthropologie. From brass hooks and book ends to picture frames and pet beds, there’s a great choice! I have to say though, these little hand-finished cast iron Westies are a […]

Paul Smith stripes have made their way into our pets lives with simple styling on dog bowls, collars and leashes. Made from 100% leather the collars and leashes have brushed metal finishes and are available in two sizes. The ceramic dog bowl looks too good for it, but is actually dishwasher safe.

Feeling a little peeved at not being able to dress up Milly and Poppet for Halloween, or even to parade them in any kind of fancy costume, I thought there must be others out there that have Halloween envy. So, if you can’t dress up your dog here are some ‘tough’ looking pirate collars from […]

Just came across One Blue Dog a new company in the UK creating beautifully designed pet products. They work from their studio in central London and design and handprint all the fabrics for their dog beds, collars and leads as well as some personal stuff like tote bags, wrapping paper and cushions. Want to buy […]
