We know that the Sphynx Cat needs that little bit of added protection from harsh winters and the hot summer sun. So, we’re here again… I really am totally smitten, as you know, with French company  Milk and Pepper, and to reveal just how long I have been obsessed take a peek at my previous posts! Everything they do oozes style, and their quality is second to none. So when I see they have added more products, I just have to share! Back in March I selected a few (actually quite a few) adorable outfits and carriers from their new Summer 2012 collection. And now, in glorious colour, I have to add these latest red and grey and floral print collars with pretty and posh raincoats that have a matching lining! It might seem that at the moment I’m a little obsessed with Jubilee celebrations, my continuing addiction to all things Radley  and anything that has a Union Jack emblazoned on it – well, it could definitely get worse over the next few weeks. It’s full steam ahead with the preparations in London and all over the UK, and it’s at times like this when I see how the nation comes together that I get pangs of patriotism.  This year has definitely been the year for UK brands to celebrate all things British, and to name just a couple,  Mulberry with their fun Brighton Rock campaign, and now Radley with The great British Summer. As well as Union Jacks, Crowns, Bulldogs and Corgis we have tea, now combine tea with the seaside, Union Jacks and a Scotty and you have the new home range from Radley UK. Included are teapots, teacups, teatowels, doormats and pinnies, wallets, purses, brollies and totes!

Quality, quirky and quintessentially British, Age of Reason  is a UK accessories label who pride themselves on making beautiful silk scarves using playful prints and the best quality silk. With the up and coming celebrations they have brought out a Jubilee range with Union Jacks adorning most of their silk squares. Cute little rescue Greyhounds Max and Molly are the inspiration for the Etsy shop The DogHouse created by Jane Jones. There is always cat grass growing in ugly little trays in our house. Poppet doesn’t seem to be able to start the day right without a good munch on it, and Milly, for some reason just likes to bury her head in it. But it’s that time of year when the shedding has commenced and even a good brush with the furminator doesn’t stop the hairballs. As soon as I saw these cushions from Helkat Design on Pinterest (thanks Sniff Design), I found them irresistibly gorgeous! The team at Helkat create soft furnishings and handprinted canvases using natural, quality archive materials and vintage style fabrics. They produce these great ‘one off’ textiles and although I have featured the dogs and cats in the collection, a lot of their products are inspired by great British symbols and icons, heraldic images, international flags, and their love of the English countryside.
